Job Title: Engineering Manager

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers across multiple squads.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.

Technical Direction

• Collaborate with product and architecture teams to define technical strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure engineering best practices — code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and documentation — are consistently followed.
• Drive technical decision-making and provide hands-on guidance when needed.
• Oversee system design discussions and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in an engineering management or tech lead role.
• Strong background in backend or full-stack development (Node.js, Python, or similar).
• Experience managing distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.
• Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
